Today was a very busy day at the Crawford house.... well at least for me. I did some crazy organization of our storage room, pantry, medicine supply, Evie's room and our living room. Add in a picnic lunch in front of our new favorite part of our yard:
(Thank you embassy for purchasing, shipping and building us the best playground we will EVER have. Would you guys be interested in a little post about life in the Foreign Service? It is such a dominant part of my life that I never talk about here.)
A yummy BBQ dinner with our favorite neighbor and then lots and lots of organizing on the blog. Like I told the hubby, today was a day filled with things I sooo needed to do but just aren't fun. One of those things was getting ALL the patterns I offer in one easy to access place. It can be found HERE or simply click on the tutorials link at the top of the page (I haven't figured out how to make it say "Patterns" instead of "Tutorials"). At current count I offer 29 free downloadable patterns. Soon that will go up to 31! I cannot believe how far the blog has come in 6 months! My sister Felicity pointed out to me today that I have over a thousand followers. I was floored. Really floored.
All I can say is:
I can't thank you enough to reading, posting comments, emailing me and offering such wonderful support. I wish I could send each of you one of those cards but hello! Stamps are so expensive now a days ha! So instead I will hopefully keep posting tutorials you enjoy and we can continue to be cyber buddies! I hope this consolidated pattern section is helpful!
Yes! I would be interest in a foreign service post ;-)

ReplyDeleteI was led to you by the Project Run and Play and I must say I love your creations!! They're all so beautiful. The childrens clothes are some of the cutest I have ever seen (and I'm definitely going to make some for my daughter), and I love the women's patterns as well (not many of those around the blog world!).
I think I need to send you some fabric as a "thank you" for all the beautiful patterns! :)
first off, thank YOU! ~for sharing your talent and creativity with all of us! what a gift!!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to actually make a single thing you have posted, but i've been following you for months and months~I know now that I could definitely do it (if only I can find the time to figure it all out for myself :) I don't know how you do it with three little ones!

ReplyDeleteYes, tell us about life in the foreign service. So interested. Are the older kids going to school in Timor? How many other f. service families live there?
ReplyDeleteCheers from Utah
Hi, Kelly! I just found your blog through One Pretty Thing. I'm also living in Timor... It's fun to know that you live so close. Congraulations for your blog.
ReplyDeleteLiliana
I too would love a post about your life there and how the kids adjust...:)
ReplyDeleteAhh we have a similar climbing frame for our girls. How did you go putting all the parts together? Great quality equipment x
ReplyDeleteCan I see some of the photo of thechildren clothes you have in the closet of your children.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I agree, we are thanking YOU for sharing your talents and being willing to do it freely! You inspire me all the time, even when I am feeling a little anti-crafting/sewing! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI would loooove a post about life in Foreign Services. My husband is graduating in Construction Management next spring and we're eying Foreign Services.
ReplyDeleteBefore I got into the sewing, it was the cute names (I know they're fake) for your kids and your location that kept me reading. Now the sewing is a pretty big draw, too. =)
