Some of you have guessed it. This fall we will be welcoming our fourth munchkin.
We are obviously ecstatic but I must say out of my three previous pregnancies number four is shaping up to be a bear. The minimal amount of energy I have had each day I have had to ration just to get by. I am clawing my way to the second trimester and am holding out hope that the all day, well into the night nausea and exhaustion will relent. I would hope to continue with the blog but unfortunately the pace is going to have to slow waaaaaaay down. I hope you understand and will stick with me until I get past these {fingers crossed} last few weeks of down time. I have had a few people ask me about the doctor situation here on the island. There is not an OBGYN on the island. I will meet with the Embassy doctor for the most part then fly to Singapore for major mile stones. Since we already have 2 boys and a girl we decided we are not going to find out what this little bun is. (I think the hubby is sneakily agreeing to this to keep the sewing and decorating in check). So, instead maybe I will focus on some fun maternity dresses :) But I still have those piles of patterns I am slowly chipping away at to get up for you. Tomorrow I am thrilled to be sharing an wonderful guest tutorial, perfect for getting you in the mood for Spring! Thank you all for your comments on the last post, nothing is worse then getting sick when you are already laid out :)
Cheers!

ReplyDeletewhat exciting news :) sure you're not having number four and five - since you're a lot worse than the other pregnancies??? :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Praying for your sickness to go away and for renewed energy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Hope you'll feel beter soon. I've never know the gender of my kids until they were born.
ReplyDeleteha...me too...spent all day in bed today!...of course now it's 11:40pm and i'm wired...been eating beige all day!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! And how cool that you aren't going to find out the gender, I want to do that when the time comes, but since it will be my first, who knows if I will be able to handle the curiosity. Anyway, I hope you get more energy and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteAw! Congrats!! My pregnancy was a bear too, I literally was counting the days until my 2nd trimester, LOL! Hope you're feeling better soon!! :)
ReplyDeletethe best of news! another little one :) congratulations!! I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, so excited for you & your family! Congrats. I hope you get to feeling better soon. And yes, I'll certainly stick with ya during the slower times. And how fun to not find out the sex of the baby. I don't know if I could do that.....the suspense would kill me!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm a huge fan of your blog. I still can't figure out how you find the time to make as much as you do! Just wanted to say congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I hope all goes well and you start feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! In the 23rd week here, and I must say, starting to get a bit more difficult cutting out all the material and bending over the machine. Will fight my way to it no matter what though - lol. Had to give birth to our second in Germany, where mid-wives are the doctors in births. Very homeotherapy orientated there. Had to fight just to get the epidural!
ReplyDeleteCongrats again, and have fun with the mystery bundle :)
Kelly! I am so ridiculously excited for you!! You are such a great mom...I just hope your pregnancy treats you better soon! Keep us posted on mystery baby's news :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I do hope the nausea and exhaustion let up soon! Don't worry about us--we'll still be here!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I'm in the throes of the first trimester of my second child and would probably be your *only* reader who would enjoy you creating some maternity clothing... but so what!!!?? I'm selfish like that.

ReplyDeletebecky
Congrats!! Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteooooh, congratulations! what a blessing :) we just had our second at home this year and it was a beautiful experience... i don't know if there would be a practicing midwife there that you would feel comfortable with but it might be something to explore?? my cousin has been in singapore for four years now and had a very positive birth experience there too. hope your sewing machine issues have worked themselves out!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and good luck!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! So exciting! And I am excited about seeing some maternity clothes, when you feel up to it. My wardrobe could use some sprucing up.
ReplyDeleteUntil then, I will be checking through your archives for things I may have missed.
Good luck.
What wonderful news! Best wishes for more energy and a healthy pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS! So exciting. I did almost no crafting last year when I was due with my little Olivia, just no energy for anything but running after my older girl and renovating our house. Then suddenly in the last month or so, just POW! Projects like mad. I hope you get to your POW! point soon!

ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! Hope things improve as you near the end. A great maternity piece would be a hospital gown. I had plans for one when Roly Poly arrived early. I will patiently wait for your new bun and all the fun crafts that I am sure will come after.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and your family! Hope you get to feeling better soon!

ReplyDeleteCongrats. I too am trying to survive the last little bit of the first trimester. My blog has taken a major hit, but I feel that it isn't a bad thing. The first trimester is a beast, but it is nice to slow down and ease into a new phase of your (and your families life). Best of luck. Hope your sleeping well. I am tired all day, and an insomniac all night.
ReplyDeleteHooray for you! I'm super happy for your family.

ReplyDeleteMajor congrats! Hope you start feeling beter super soon. And of course we understand the need to slow down. You take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteUm...I think it is kinda hilarious that you posted this big news on your sewing blog before posting it on your personal blog. That is dedication.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I kinda can't believe that you are not going to find out what it is! That takes serious patience and self control. I am proud of you.
But most importantly, congrats on the new baby! That is very very exciting and I am so happy for you. Besides, with what absolutely adorable kids you guys make, we need more of your cuties in this world!
Congratulations! Love your blog and LOVE your patterns. Thanks for all your hard work - now take it easy for a while!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! Hope these next few months are manageable for you! Thanks again for so many great patterns!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I had the same problem with both my babies...sick, sick, sick! It should not be called morning sickness but 24 hour sickness! Hopefully it passes quickley and your other kids have pity you and let you lay on the couch when you need to!
ReplyDeleteWow that soooo exciting!!! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteWith your sewing skills I really can't wait to see what you come up with!!
XOXO
DIY Maternity
That is fantastic news! congrats to you and please keep us posted on how you are doing!!! can't wait to see the fabulous dresses you design! =)
ReplyDeleteYay! Congratulations! I hope you get feeling well soon. Morning sickness is no fun. Good luck with everything.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Kelly and family! I can totally relate to the nasty morning sickness - I had it very badly with my 1 1/2 pregnancies and it totally makes me question having another child. I don't know how you manage a household and care for other kids when you feel so terrible (much less take pictures of diplomats and post regularly on a blog). You are Superwoman!
