Best Intentions Fly Out the Window

Today I 100% planned to post a tutorial on how I make bustles on my dresses (oh it is so easy you will laugh). But then at 6am Evie woke Chris up by softly calling his name. I laughed and thought, "Oh Evie, I will totally reward you later" ha! He couldn't resist and went and got her. A few minutes later I hear him whisper "Bonjour". Thats right my fabulous friends! We received our next assignment will be:
Paris!!!
Needless to say we are thrilled. Chris will begin French classes the beginning of the year and we will report to Paris next fall. So what do you think? Anyone want to come visit :)

  12. Oh yeah! I love hearing that so many people love it. Having never been there myself, you never know if it will live up to the hype ha! Amanada: I could take French lessons along with Chris, they actually encourage family members too, but then I would have to put Baby and Evie in Daycare so I am just going to Rosetta stone it! Lisa and by night, um where ever you are you should totally take the 3H train ride and come visit!! And Elizabeth one of the first things I said to Chris was "Oh I hope Brandon and Elizabeth come visit!"

  36. Wow! Tres Chic! I live in London so we could be practically neighbors! ;) There is a way cool fabric distric in the bohemian part of Paris by the church on the hill, Monte...(sorry, if I spoke French I'm sure I'd remember this name.) The whole area there is so very hip. Paris is wonderful, you are very lucky. Enjoy!

  49. Felecitations!

    I served as a missionary in France and Switzerland. You will be able to attend church again. My favorite hymn is in the French hymnbook; it is called Souviens-Toi; if you learn French you will love this hymn; it is a lullaby sang to a newborn about the pre-earth life.

    The children's clothing is wonderful; you will find so many beautiful things. The antiques stores will have hats for you.

    A couple more words for you:

    la poupee = doll
    la robe = dress
    embroiderie = embroidery :)
