My girlie had a terrible time potty training and many UTIs before she was even 4. Finally at 5 a new Dr sent us to a urologist and long story short, after a minor surgery, she was fixed and finally potty trained. I can't tell you how awful I felt for all the times I fussed at her for having an accident when she honestly couldn't help it.Mousetowerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14194615719530754890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332341781238950144.post-86078137965314271912011-04-06T07:13:41.202+09:002011-04-06T07:13:41.202+09:00Ha! I can totally relate to your "counting to ten" moment -- sometimes I have to try to gently explain to my 7-year-old that not everybody thinks about Star Wars as much as he does, so we sometimes get a little tired of talking about it. Usually there's about a five-second pause before he goes back to asking me whether or not I think the Millennium Falcon is a better ship than a droid tri-fighter. :)

I hope your wee guy feels better soon! My household is also beginning to become Star Wars oriented (again). It took much might to get my son out of the new Darth Vader shoes at Stride Rite today. The method of persuasion, "if you take those off and put on these Darth Maul sandals (we need sandals not tennis shoes right now), then Grandma will let you wear them out of the store." Phew! It worked. God bless Grandma's who can buy Stride Rite shoes.Jayna Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02531160266385345035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332341781238950144.post-73601795051646239982011-04-05T14:01:29.106+09:002011-04-05T14:01:29.106+09:00Poor guy, I hope he feels better soon. $28? We had a trip planned there when we lived in Japan and about 7 hours before we left the airline we were supposed to fly went bankrupt and our travel was canceled. Sad. Congratulations on resisting ... but oh how frustrating.

I just made one of those felt hair pieces you taught in your previous tutorial, wa-hoo. I had some pre-cut felt circles from a bow that was used on a present that someone gave to me. It was perfect to turn into two different types of flowers. I've seen these hair pieces on various creation blogs but it wasn't until I saw yours on Evie that I felt really inspired to try to make one. Thanks for always being such an inspiration ...
